I researched for a pretty long time when buying a new drill/driver following my 14v Craftsman NiCad died just after a really good 8 year run (!). All drill bits and so on. are perfectly straight coming out of the jaws. So if you are a great deal more interested in the chuck collar being straight, you could possibly be disappointed. I for one don't care about the collar just as lengthy as all bits turn straight and true and that is not a difficulty. I was shocked at how modest the tool looks and feels having not owned a "compact" drill driver ahead of. I felt that for the price tag I really should be getting a giant operate-horse. The battery cover is weak and poorly fitting.
